Shanghai ITMA Asia + CITME 2008 Visit Tour

ITMA ASIA – Asian International Exhibition of Textile Machinery   is the world’s largest international textile machinery exhibition. ITMA is recognised as the ‘Olympics’ of the textile machinery industry and the event has taken place every 4 years since its launch in 1951. In 2001, In order to cater to the growing needs of Asian textile manufacturers, ITMA ASIA made its debut in Singapore. Its second presentation held in 2005 grew by over 30 percent, with more than 850 international exhibitors and over 30,000 international visitors from 86 countries.

CITME – China International Textile Machinery Exhibition  was launched in 1988. It has grown to be the largest international textile machinery exhibition in China. The 10th edition of CITME, was successfully held in Beijing in October 2006. The exhibition space reached the new record of 65,000 sqm. According to statistics, 36,635 trade visitors from 73 countries attended.

Starting from 2008,  “ITMA ASIA + CITME 2008” combined and and taking off in Shanghai with over 1,200 international exhibitors and 126,500 square metres of exhibition space. It is Asia’s largest mega international textile machinery and accessories exhibition.
