Textile firms across Karachi are facing severe shortage of
gas supply. This was announced by Jawed Bilwani, Chairman,

14 days in December, when the industries remained without
gas supply for 4 to 13 hours.
He also said that generators too failed due to low gas
pressure and machines got damaged because of power
PHMA has been constantly urging the Government of Pakistan
to ask SSGC to immediately supply gas to the textile units.
