Columbia and Hudsonís Bay too reopen stores

 

With lockdown getting eased in several provinces all across America and Canada, a lot of fashion retailers are now slowly reopening their stores.

Mango announced it last week followed by Tapestry, Inc. that plans to reopen the stores of its brands by this weekend, and now Columbia Sportswear too has announced to reopen 30 of its stores in 10 states across US

Besides, the outdoor apparel and footwear label will also be reappointing 250 of its workers that it had previously furloughed. The brand made it clear that it will now be focusing on safety measures.

In addition to making face masks mandatory for everyone to wear, Columbia will be delaying the restocking of apparels tried on in fitting rooms for 24 hours.

Besides, the brand also started a checkout charity campaign so as to help provide funds for coronavirus relief measures.

Canada-based Hudsonís Bay has also announced the reopening of its stores across Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Like most of the retailers, Hudsonís Bay too has given priority to safety measures by offering curbside pickup at most of its locations Ė thereby encouraging contactless shopping.
