M&S rolls out ‘Mobile PayGo’ payment services across the UK

Marks & Spencer (M&S), the UK fashion retailer, unveils Mobile PayGo!

Now that’s a checkout-free shopping technology which allows shoppers to purchase goods up to £ 45.

The step will enable the retailer to streamline the customer shopping experience in stores.

The application integrated into the M&S shopping app continues to increase acceptance since March.

The solution allows the customers to make the payment by scanning the item when shopping and using their pre-stored card or Apple Pay (up to £45). This eliminates the need for them to stand in the checkout queue.

“Making shopping as easy and efficient as possible is very important to us and our customers. Mobile Pay Go can help you do just that. It’s quick and unreachable. This means fewer queues at checkout,” said Helen Milford, Store Director, M&S.

The integration of technology is a part of the retailers’ digital transforming journey and enhancing customer shopping experience.

M&S app has around 1.6 million downloads since the Sparks renewal in July.
