M&S rolls out ‘Mobile PayGo’ payment services
across the UK
Marks & Spencer (M&S), the UK fashion retailer, unveils
Now that’s a checkout-free shopping technology which allows
shoppers to purchase goods up to £ 45.
The step will enable the retailer to streamline the customer
shopping experience in stores.
The application integrated into the M&S shopping app
continues to increase acceptance since March.
The solution allows the customers to make the payment by
scanning the item when shopping and using their pre-stored
card or Apple Pay (up to £45). This eliminates the need for
them to stand in the checkout queue.
“Making shopping as easy and efficient as possible is very
important to us and our customers. Mobile Pay Go can help
you do just that. It’s quick and unreachable. This means
fewer queues at checkout,” said Helen Milford, Store
The integration of technology is a part of the retailers’
digital transforming journey and enhancing customer shopping
M&S app has around 1.6 million downloads since the Sparks
renewal in July.
