Nike and SKIMS to debut collaborative activewear collection

Nike’s collaboration with Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand, originally slated for spring 2025, will officially launch on 26th September. The range will be available through the Nike and SKIMS websites, as well as select retail outlets. Spanning seven collections and 58 silhouettes, it offers over 10,000 ways to combine looks across a wide spectrum of activewear.

Kardashian said the collaboration was designed to celebrate women’s strength and redefine activewear without compromise. She explained that the collection combined advanced performance with bold, fashion-forward design, aiming to empower athletes of all levels to move freely and achieve their goals with confidence.

Amy Montagne, President of Nike, described NikeSKIMS as a bold evolution in the way women experience sport and style. She said the collaboration reflected Nike’s wider commitment to delivering innovative products tailored to women, celebrating both movement and individuality.

Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles said the line allowed her to combine athletic performance with personal expression. She noted that the collection’s quality and fit supported her as an athlete while making her feel comfortable, sleek and confident.

The first drop introduces three core collections that will be updated seasonally, alongside four seasonal ranges. The ‘Matte’ collection includes 21 everyday staples providing mid-level compression with targeted smoothing and sculpting, crafted with Nike’s Dri-FIT technology. The ‘Shine’ range offers sleek, quick-drying designs for strength training, with a subtle sheen and stretch for comfort beyond the gym. The ‘Airy’ collection features breathable, mesh-inspired knitwear in fitted and oversized silhouettes, designed for layering and low-impact activity.

Tennis icon Serena Williams said the collection offered an unparalleled feel and performance, describing the fabric as lightweight and empowering during training.

Among the four seasonal lines is the ‘Vintage Seamless’ collection, developed with seamless knitting technology and a wash process that delivers a lived-in, vintage aesthetic.
