Chinese online fashion retailer SHEIN has opened a new logistics centre in Wrocław, Poland, which will serve as the company’s main distribution hub in Europe and support faster deliveries to more than 100 million customers across the continent.
The facility will increase the total number of jobs created by SHEIN in the Lower Silesia province to at least 5,000, the company said on Monday. SHEIN first established its European logistics operations in the region in 2022.
According to the company, the new logistics centre is equipped with state-of-the-art robotic picking systems and automated sorting lines designed to improve speed and efficiency across its supply chain. Once fully operational, the site will provide up to 740,000 square metres of logistics space in the Wrocław region.
Leonard Lin, President of SHEIN for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, said the company was proud to officially open the new facility in Poland, noting that Wrocław had served as a strategic base for SHEIN’s European logistics operations since 2022.
He added that the city and surrounding area offered advanced warehouse infrastructure, strong transport links to major European cities and access to a large pool of skilled talent, making it an attractive hub for the logistics industry. He also said the company looked forward to creating additional jobs in the region while further enhancing the customer experience across Europe.
