US cotton export sales surge as demand rebounds

United States Department of Agriculture reported a sharp rebound in US cotton export sales for the week ended March 26, signaling renewed global demand.

Net sales rose to 371,500 running bales, up 94% above the four-week average, driven by strong buying interest, particularly from China. New crop sales also reached 117,300 bales, reflecting steady forward demand.

Export shipments declined 11% week-on-week to 356,700 bales but remained above the four-week average, indicating stable order execution and improving market confidence.
